Parent & Me is a parent-child pre-soccer, music, and movement program designed for toddlers between 12 and 24 months. Our program focuses on nurturing toddlers' physical, cognitive, and social skills through fun, engaging activities with our puppet friends, Mimi & Pepe.

My name is Laura. I’m a mom of two young girls, a former soccer player, a Chicago North Shore resident, and now the proud Owner of Soccer Stars. I’ve always believed in teaching healthy habits early and giving kids a positive first experience with sports so they can learn important life skills like teamwork, communication, and resilience—lessons that continue to shape who I am today. So, when I heard about the Soccer Stars curriculum that keeps kids engaged through fun, non-competitive learning, I jumped at the opportunity to deliver this to my neighbors! Hello everyone! My name is Harrison Ryan, and I’m the General Manager of Soccer Stars in Chicago’s North Shore and Barrington. As the oldest of four siblings and a former college athlete, sports played a major role in shaping who I am—not just as an athlete, but as a person. Through my own experiences, I learned the value of confidence, teamwork, and having great mentors, and Soccer Stars gives me the opportunity to pass those lessons on to the next generation. I’m Aidan Miller-Hisgen, a soccer coach and sports enthusiast based in Hoffman Estates. I started playing soccer when I was 9 and I’m still on the field today! Along the way, I’ve taken on leadership roles as a player and coached in different capacities, including with Special Olympics. This has shaped how I think about the game: soccer is a way to connect with people across boundaries and learn lessons that stick with you beyond the field. Great coaches and teammates were fundamental to my own growth, and now I’m excited to pass that on. I’m Corinne Cordell, a soccer coach and child development student based in Chicago. I played competitive soccer for over 14 years and still love getting on the field today! I have over two years of coaching experience, including a year and a half with Soccer Stars in Phoenix. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, and some of my favorite memories growing up came from the coaches, teammates, and experiences I had on the field. As a student studying child development, I have a strong passion for making a positive impact on kids’ lives. Hello, my name is Mario Garcia, and I am based in Schaumburg. I have a strong passion for sports and enjoy staying as active as possible. I embrace adversity and approach challenges head on. I have played soccer since I was five years old, and with family members who were both coaches and players, the sport has always been an important family tradition. Their influence motivated me to continue pursuing soccer and grow my love for the game. Soccer has also encouraged me to explore other sports and develop as a athlete. It has helped shape the person I am today by teaching me the importance of passion, grit, discipline, and character. I look forward to continuing to share the energy, skills, and values that soccer has given me.
