What ages are Soccer Stars Brooklyn classes for?
Soccer Stars Brooklyn runs classes for kids from 12 months through 12 years old. Toddlers ages 1–2 start in our Parent & Me music-and-movement soccer class, and children ages 2 and up join age-grouped Soccer Stars classes that teach the fundamentals in a fun, non-competitive environment.

Does my child need soccer experience to join?
No. Whether your child is a first-time player or already loves the game, there is a Soccer Stars Brooklyn class for them. Our program ages overlap so you and your child can be comfortable with the level of play, and our curriculum uses positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio so every child feels supported.
Do you offer a trial class or trial period in Brooklyn?
Yes. Once you enroll, you have until before the 4th class of the season to decide whether to continue. Many children who are hesitant in their first class are fully engaged by the third. If you withdraw within the trial period, you can receive a prorated credit toward a future class or a prorated refund to your original form of payment. The registration fee is non-refundable.
What is the make-up class policy?
You can take up to two make-up classes per season for missed classes. Make-ups are subject to availability, must be in the same season and age group, and cannot be scheduled for the first or last class of the season. Make-up classes do not carry over into a new season and cannot be converted to account credit.
What if my child falls between two age groups?
This is common, especially between ages 3 and 5. We place children based on developmental milestones rather than size. For new players we generally suggest the younger age group within the overlap, and your Brooklyn coach can evaluate your child and recommend moving up when they are ready.
How do I enroll my child in a Brooklyn soccer class?

How will I find my coach and class location on the first day?
Before your first class you will receive a First Class email with the location details and where to meet your coach. What happens if it rains?
Classes run in drizzle and light rain, so dress for the weather. Our team decides on the status of each class about two hours before the start time based on the forecast. If we cancel for safety, we will contact you and help you schedule a make-up class. If you have not heard from us and are unsure, call (347) 991-1899 or email brooklyn@soccerstars.com.
What should my child wear or bring to class?
Your child should wear their Soccer Stars t-shirt or jersey if one came with enrollment, seasonally appropriate athletic clothes in layers, and secure, closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle.
Who coaches the classes, and how are they trained?
Soccer Stars Brooklyn coaches are trained and vetted, and our coaching department reviews every coach multiple times each season. Coaches are encouraged to earn higher coaching levels within the company and national certifications. Classes keep a low child-to-coach ratio so every child gets individual attention.
What if my child does not like the class at first?
Most children have a warm-up period with a new class or coach. If your child is having trouble adjusting, call (347) 991-1899 or email brooklyn@soccerstars.com and we will work with you to make adjustments, such as a different class time or age group.
What if the Brooklyn class I want is full?
If a class shows a Join Waitlist option, join it to hold your place. The waitlist is first-come, first-served, costs nothing and carries no obligation. We will contact you if a spot opens.
